Work Overview
Lyre Bird Dell is a popular tourist spot in the Blue
Mountains.
The cave was inhabited by aborigines about 12,000 years ago
according to work done by E.Stockton and W.Holland in a paper
"Cultural Sites and their Environment in the Blue Mountains"
(Archaeology and Physical Anthropology) "Oceania". Volume IX,
No.1, April, 1974.
