Library shelf no. 785.713/HUS 1 [Available for loan]

Work Overview

The genesis of the piece was observing patterns of light on the ocean's surface at Bondi Beach.

Rather than attempt to portray these patterns literally, the piece offers philosophical reflections on the ways in which patterns of light affect our perception of movement in the water.

Fourths and fifths play a prominent role in the harmonies in all three movements.
