Work Overview
Inspired by a reading of da Vinci's notebooks; the approach of direct observation is reappropriated to a study of 3 forms of the human body. It reflects the muscular-skeletal (percussion/piano), and moves through the waterbody (cello/double bass) and nervous system (clarinet/electric guitar).
We are as much a reflection of the elements as we are an influence on them. Perhaps in reflecting inwards, we can see more clearly our effect and stance outwards on the many layers of our surrounding world and atmosphere. A case study of human observation and the ability to take in the surrounds with a gentleness and curiosity.
