Work Overview
Miss Sandra Parton, former fellow teacher at Abbotsleigh, became in 1977 Mrs Penicka. She taught at several other schools until a most unusual development. The verdict was confirmed as twins! After a while she resumed part time at a few schools, eventually finishing at Chatswood Public. As her pupils developed, a Chamber Strings group was conceived, without conductor and with rotating positions and desks. About then I was intrigued enough to virtually commission myself, which did not give her much choice. Without her help it would not exist at all.
