Work Overview
This piece was premiered by Ten Part Invention at the band's first public performance after the death of the band's founder John Pochée. John had not been performing with the band during his final year's but had always remained an important presence, attending performances when his health permitted. John had established the band to perform the work of Australian jazz composers and it seemed a particularlyl fitting tribute to John and his vision to premiere a new piece in his honour.
