This piece was written to provide incidental and stage music for the performance of La Maison Suspendue by Canadian playright, Michel Tremblay. The work calls for pre-recorded string quartet tracks, with a violin soloist on stage. The string quartet incidental music may be performed separately from the staged work. The piece incorporates graphic notation and sound effects for the on-stage violin soloist.
