Helen Gifford and Richard Meredith's opera Exile - also known as Iphigenia in Exile - will be available as an mp3 download in its entirety this December through ABC Classic FM's AMU podcast series. On 10 December, Exile will also be launched as an iPad Application, co-produced by ChamberMade Opera and Aphids.

Set on a desolate coastline, this music theatre work explores the psychological state of Iphigenia as she reflects on her time as a high priestess of human sacrifices. Iphigenia in Exile was recorded by ABC Classic FM in June 2010 in front of a live audience at Melbourne's Iwaki Auditorium. The work, performed by ChamberMade Opera, Aphids and Speak Percussion (soprano Deborah Kayser and an ensemble of percussionists, clarinets, piccolo/clay flute, mandolin-guitar and a women's chorus), was given the alternative title of Exile.

The AMU podcast also includes a conversation about the work between the composer and ChamberMade's artistic director David Young.
