2016 Jean Bogan Prize: Paul Copeland's 'Audacious Binary Forms'

This Sunday at 4pm, don’t miss celebrated international pianist Michael Kieran Harvey perform winning compositions from the 2016 Jean Bogan Piano Competition. Come and meet the composers and hear the extraordinary pianism of Michael Kieran Harvey performing Audacious Binary Forms by Paul Copeland, and Sonatine by John Rotar.
Copeland's work has been specifically composed for the venue, and takes advantage of the extended range of the Stuart & Sons piano. The work is written in memory of Australian composer Felix Werder, who was Copeland's tutor in composition.
