A preview of their upcoming CD, Ulpirra Sonatines: Australian and French Flute Music. Join Melissa and Mark for a preview-concert before they head into the studio to record this exciting new CD! The CD will feature Mark Isaacs's new piece The River for alto flute and piano, composed especially for this release.

Melissa Doecke and Mark Isaacs first collaborated in 2009 when Melissa commissioned a new work (Sonatine) from Mark. Together they premiered this work in a recital at the Adelaide Flute Festival in 2009 and subsequently recorded the programme for an ABC Classic FM broadcast. This project reunites the pair for a new CD featuring Isaacs's Sonatine and new work The River, and Ross Edwards Nura and Ulpirra alongside inspiring French works by Poulenc and Dutilleux.
