In a project commissioned by Momentum Ensemble and supported by Peter Weiss AO, composer Lachlan Skipworth and photographer Greg Barrett explore the creative process that unravels when faced with both a musical and visual blank canvas.
This type of collaboration stems from the very heart of Momentum’s purpose: the pursuit of unchartered territory. Avem Asperitas is the result of two artistic minds – disparate at first – melding together over time to create a completely unique piece of art.
Join Momentum Ensemble as they present the world premiere of this new work, alongside a contemporary collection of music for small orchestra.
