Work Overview
Brightest threads creates a glowing sonority by interlocking melodies in a canon, with the focus on ambiguous but tenderly expressive and direct, simple lines. As it progresses, energy levels slowly build and then subside to a passage of stillness, interrupted by rapid runs and a return to the opening melodies.
