Event Details
Join Tubby the Tuba as he searches for a special melody to play with the orchestra. In this playful, interactive cushion concert, children will follow the engaging story of Tubby while also discovering the different instruments of the orchestra through a collection of entertaining music created by Australian Composer Sean O’Boyle AM. Kids will hear fabulously fun works including Liquorice Noodles for Clarinet, Flipperdiperus for Flute, Galloping Goanna for Xylophone, Duelling Fiddles for Violin, Lonesome Prairie for Trumpet and Tuba Toothpaste for Tuba. Presented by Samuel Welsh (from the acclaimed 78 and 91-Storey Treehouse productions), and conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams, this is a chance to give your children a fun and educational first-class musical experience with the added bonus of both walking through a live performing orchestra and getting a chance to try their hand at conducting! Proudly Supported by The Inner West Council Saturday October 8, 11am, 1pm and 3pm Sunday October 9, 11am, 1pm and 3pm Tickets from only $18.00. Family passes available.
