Love of Three Apples is a popular recital piece for tuba players throughout the world. It has been performed and recorded on numerous occasions and is a popular choice for HSC performance. The work was commissioned by Steve Rosse and the the title is a very loose reference to Prokoffiev's Love of Three Oranges
