Work Overview

With these ten graded pieces, the composer has aimed to provide opportunities to students even at an early stage to use more of the keyboard than is currently available in such educational material. This means that the music is more chromatic than conventional 'white keys' pieces and covers a wider range of the keyboard. Learning these pieces therefore encourages adoption of a better hand position and promotes a feeling of freedom both physically and of the imagination.
