Funding

The Australian Music Centre is grateful to a number organisations for their generous support of the Centre's activities. With their support the Centre is able to provide much needed assistance to composers, musicians and educators; and increases awareness of Australian music in Australia and overseas.

Core funding

The Australian Music Centre is grateful for the core support provided by the Commonwealth Government through the Music Board of the Australia Council.

The Centre is also grateful for the core support provided by the New South Wales Ministry for the Arts for its contribution to cover costs for NSW services.

Project funding

Special thanks goes to the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) for ongoing assistance with international promotion and funding for copying of parts. APRA has also generously provided funding towards the digitisation project which will, in time, enable online delivery of scores, recordings, and educational resource material. The Centre's partnership with APRA in presenting the annual Classical Music Awards is also gratefully acknowledged.

The Centre acknowledges the support provided by the Commonwealth Government through the Music Board of the Australia Council, and the support of Creative New Zealand, for the Trans-Tasman Composer Residency Exchange project.

The Centre's partnership with The Song Company in the MODART project is an important opportunity for composers to develop their professional skills.

The Centre administers the Paul Lowin Prizes for Perpetual Trustees. Paul Lowin Prizes is Australia's richest prize for music composition.

The Centre is grateful to ABC Classic FM for its support of many Centre's projects, and for its broader support of Australian music.
