For over 50 years, we have been documenting and honouring the works of Australian composers, creators and musicians, bearing witness to the dynamic expansion of Australian art music and the exploration of new sonic territories, technologies, and techniques. We represent Australian creators close to home and via international platforms, recognising excellence in music practice, leadership amongst our national music community, and forge industry connections to support sustainable futures for music creators and their work.
These efforts transform brilliant musical imaginations into tangible outcomes – the music we hear on radio, stages, screens, in schools, and in public spaces – and remains a valuable resource for creators at any stage of their practice.
Our library of over 40,000 works, audio recordings and resources is a living, growing collection of Australian creative expression. It includes beginner sheet music and advanced orchestral scores; works by First Nations composers; experimental sound art pushing at the edges of what music can be; and educational kits that bring Australian art music into classrooms. There is genuinely, something for everyone.
