CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Jan. 1972 Participated as performer in the masterclass by visiting Venezuelan master guitarist Alirio Diaz.
1977 Lecturer in Music (History and Composition) at Preston Technical College.
1981-83 Two songs for soprano and guitar wins composition prizes at Bendigo, Ringwood, Geelong and Warnambool eisteddfods.
Feb. 1982 The ballet Strangers performed for a season at the Sydney Opera House by the Sydney Dance Company with the composer as conductor.
Aug.-Dec. 1983 Composer-in-residence in Portland, Vic. creating the miracle play The Haunting of Alvin Cohan.
Nov. 1983 . . being divinely . . premiered at the Melbourne music festival, Music in the Round.
Apr. 1985 Wrote the libretto for the giant celebratory musical The Box Hill Gloria for composer George Dreyfus.
1987 Awarded the British Musical Society's annual composition commission which was fulfilled with the piece Time Locked in his Tower.
Nov. 1987 Staged the first complete performance of the ballet Strangers with students from the Victorian College of the Arts, at Music in the Round.
1988 Appointed conductor of the Monash University Orchestra.
1991 Premiere of In Memoriam as part of Music in the Round.
