Frances Cameron is a Tasmanian composer and pianist. Classically trained she draws inspiration from renowned romantic and impressionist composers such as Chopin, Debussy and Ravel. Her aesthetic blends these styles with minimalistic elements, resulting in serene piano melodies. Embracing simplicity with impressionistic harmoines and evocative melodies she creates delicately captivating compositions.

In 2021, Frances completed her Bachelor's degree in Music at the University of Tasmania. In August 2022, she released her first solo piano piece, "Reverie in A Minor," which she composed, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered herself.

Her debut album, Piano for Dreaming, was released in 2024. The album showcases her enchanting soundscapes, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in a peaceful state of reflection.

Her second album, A Day at the Florist, was released in March 2025 for Piano Day. This album was created from Frances' live improvised set at Wildly Abigail for the 2024 World's Smallest Improvised Music Festival.
