Andrew's works have been performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Klassische Philharmonie Bonn, the Australian World Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, Voces8, the Song Company, Taikoz, the Omega Ensemble, Selby & Friends, The Bowerbird Collective, Flinders Quartet, Enigma Quartet, Kristian Winther Quartet, Nexas Quartet, the Australian Youth Orchestra, Sydney Youth Orchestra, Noctiluca, and Moorambilla Voices, for whom he has written at least one piece a year since 2013.
Andrew is currently the Sydney Youth Orchestra's composer in residence, which includes various arrangements and a handful of new works for their Big Sky Tour in 2025.
Andrew has become an in demand arranger and orchestrator. He regularly contributes arrangements for Vladimir Fanshil's Live at Yours, for performers including Vatche Jambazian, Emily Granger, Kristian Winther, Konstantin Shamray, Umberto Clerici, Stephanie Farrands, Andrew Haveron and Simon Tedeschi, and since 2011 has orchestrated several works for performance by the Sydney Symphony, including songs for Josh Pyke's Live at the Sydney Opera House album, and several songs for the 2023 World Pride 'Blak & Deadly' Gala. He recently co-orchestrated with Elena Kats-Chernin her original score for the Academy Award nominated animated film Memoir of a Snail, directed by Adam Elliot and recorded by the Australian Chamber Orchestra. In 2024 he arranged the Sydney Swan's Theme Song for the AFL Grand Final.
He is a passionate music educator, and outside of classroom and individual teaching, has performed key roles in the APRA AMCOS National Excellence - Education awarded Moorambilla Magic Modules, authored education kits for the Sydney Symphony, administered several competitions for young composers, and regularly delivers lectures for adults on the subject of Classical and new Australian music. His works are regularly performed by schools across New South Wales, particularly at The King's School, Preparatory School, where he has been composer in residence from 2023-2025.
After the Clifton Parker Award afforded him the opportunity to study with Alison Kay and Simon Holt at the Royal College of Music, London, he moved to New York to complete his Master's with Susan Botti at the Manhattan School of Music, where in 2017 he won the Manhattan Prize.
