Meeghan is interested in sound art and improvisation, sonic experiments and noise effects - often held together by underlying bass guitar.
A descendant of the Awabakal peoples of Mulubinbah/Newcastle, a
city with a long history of music making and performance. Meeghan
has a background in live sound (production, recording and
performance) and experimental sound art.
Meeghan's music has been used in indie surf films, art gallery
installations and recorded independently. With a keen interest in
mix of genres and experiences in punk and rock bands since the
1990s, they currently experiment with sound frequencies derived
from nature soncially altered to be replicated
electo-acoustically, play bass guitar in alt-rock band Hoax
Trinket and live bass in experimental electronica act Deprogram.
