Thomas (Tom) is a Sydney-based guitarist and composer with a
Bachelor of Music (Composition). A guitarist with over two
decades experience, Tom is fluent across many genres, including
jazz, classical, Latin, blues and popular music. He performs
extensively throughout Sydney, including engagements on
international cruises and appearances at local events such as the
Manly Jazz Festival.
A dedicated composer, Tom has recorded and released several
original classical guitar pieces on digital streaming platforms.
His work blends classical traditions with jazz and Latin
influences, resulting in emotionally resonant and technically
engaging compositions. A selection of Tom's works have been
published by Wirripang, Australia's largest independent sheet
music publisher of Australian music. Bergmann Edition, a leading
Danish publisher of classical guitar music have also published
Tom's works.
As a dedicated educator, Tom teaches guitar at several Sydney
schools, including Tempe High School and Alexandria Park
Community School. He also contributes his musical expertise to
various recording projects, including contributions to ABC TV
shows such as "Pulse" and the short film "Veov Drive."
