Composer Liza Lim is on a quest, with or without a map, writes Matthew Westwood

LIZA Lim didn't catch Tan Dun conducting his symphonic work The Map in Sydney last month, but she managed to get hold of a DVD of it, to watch at home in Brisbane. The DVD was made at an earlier, outdoor performance in China.
