Public transport advice
The Australian Music Centre is situated at Level 4, 10 Hickson Road*, in the historic Rocks area of Sydney and is easily accessible by bus, ferry or train.
* Please note that the numbering of Hickson Road has changed, and many online mapping services such as GoogleMaps and Whereis will often indicate the incorrect address. The correct location is noted by the marker on the map below.
Trains & Ferries
Alight at Circular Quay. Follow the harbour foreshore walk past the Museum of Contemporary Art and alongside the International Passenger Terminal. Once you reach the Park Hyatt Hotel, turn left and walk up to the nearby road. The Australian Music Centre is situated in the Arts Exchange building directly across the road on Level 4, 10 Hickson Road.
Buses
Take route 431 or 433 to Millers Point (via Central, Town Hall and Wynyard). Alight after the Old Sydney Holiday Inn Hotel. Cross to the other side of the road (George Street) and walk through the Metcalfe Bond Arcade, taking the stairs down to the lower level. Exit the Arcade onto Hickson Road. The Australian Music Centre is situated a short distance to the left on Level 4, 10 Hickson Road. Alternatively, visitors traveling by bus can alight at Circular Quay and follow the directions under Train & Ferry.
