Be taken on a journey mixing jazz poetry and music - the launch of Conjuror - a collection of jazz poetry by Jazz drummer Allan Browne as part of the Capital Jazz Project. Jazz drummer and poet Allan Browne plays with Eugene Ball on Trumpet and Nick Haywood on Bass. The trio perform a selection of new conjuror material and new original Australian compositions. There will also be some free group improvisation inspired by Langston Hughes, W.H. Auden, Frank O'Hara, Phillip Larkin and Lewis Allen. Box office opens 6:30pm.
