Event Details

The Linus Ensemble performs old and new, local and foreign classical music and focuses on building community support for Australian composers and performers. The Afternoon of Music concert series aims to enrich the artistic culture within the local community and support local composers, artists and performers. This Summer Edition concert will feature works by local composers Katherine Rawlings: “Magenta”, “Alone” and “Snow Rising” and Jessamie Kaitler’s “Cascades”, as well as other exciting and beautiful works including Vivaldi’s “Summer” Concerto No. 2, Glazunov’s “Rêverie”, Bartók’s “Six Roumanian Folk Dances”, Brahms’ “Horn Trio in E-flat major: Allegro con brio” and more.
