Event Details
Soothing, transfixing, angelic – for millennia, the harp has not failed to charm and fascinate. In their second Fellowship concert, Ensemble Françaix is delighted to present the world premiere of two newly commissioned works for oboe, piano, bassoon and harp by Australian composers Peter de Jager and Natalie Wong, an instrumentation brimming with musical possibilities and contrasts. Poulenc’s neo-classical Trio and Stuart Greenbaum’s visually inspired Mondrian Interiors round off this light-hearted afternoon of musical delights for mixed ensemble.
