Event Details
Soprano Ayşe Göknur Shanal, kemane player Ali Yıldız, bağlama player Deniz Şimşek and pianist Ashley Hribar are collaborating together for the first time, to recreate the incredible, diverse and rich traditional folk music of Anatolia, the land that bridges Europe and Asia, where civilisations clashed and where culture flourished in music and art. The audience is sure to experience an unforgettable evening of musical feast and be transported to the land of beauty, love, tragedy and Silk Road.
The ensemble will present lavish works from Silifke, Rumeli, the Black Sea, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Muğla, Antalya, Kerkük, Erzurum and more.
