Beethoven’s genial op.18 no.2 opens the curtain to a very special collaboration. Internationally regarded Australian violist and composer Brett Dean joins us to perform Bruckner’s monumental Quintet, a work of great profundity and solemn beauty.
The world premiere of Brett Dean's new work for viola quintet has been postponed by the composer until 2010.
This concert forms part of the Melbourne International Arts Festival.
