The Australian Brass Quintet explores five and a half centuries of music in the intimate acoustic of the Salon, revealing commonality in breath, sound and melody from Gesualdo to Stockhausen. Featuring all Australian arrangements and a work written for the quintet by Melbourne composer and sound artist Peter Knight, five of Australia’s finest brass musicians come together to present Sotto Voce with exceptional artistry.
