Event Details
The Australian Doctors Orchestra is proud to present its first Melbourne concert in over ten years to celebrate the 30th year anniversary. Founded in 1993, The Australian Doctors Orchestra (ADO) is a unique national fellowship of medical professionals who are also classically trained musicians.
Proceeds from this concert will support the Hush Foundation, a charity that transforms the culture of healthcare through music and the arts.
Conducted by Ingrid Martin and with guest artist Briana Leaman (oboe) the program will feature works by contemporary Australian composers Maria Grenfell, Graeme Koehne and Nat Bartsch, as well as the iconic Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony.
If you’re unable to attend in person, you can still enjoy this concert and support The Hush Foundation by purchasing a digital pass for $20 through the Australian Digital Concert Hall: https://australiandigitalconcerthall.com/#/item/109501
Featured non-Australian music: Saint-Saens, Symphony no. 3 "Organ"
