Take a front-row seat and experience the exciting world of chamber music with some of the brightest musicians of Australian Youth Orchestra. From wind quintets to brass ensembles, piano trios to string quartets, this is your chance to get up close and personal with the instruments of the orchestra. Mentored by the award-winning Orava Quartet, the 2024 Ensemble-in-Residence, these young musicians will spend a week immersed in rehearsals and masterclasses at the Hume Conservatorium, Goulburn. With a focus on the works of talented Australian composers across three jam-packed concerts, this is a rare opportunity to hear some hidden gems of the repertoire, while you witness the nuances of communication, expression and performance that chamber music has to offer.
