‘Cellist Rachel Scott is joined by the choir of St James (directed by Warren Trevelyan- Jones) and organist Alistair Nelson, for the third concert in the 2015 series. Bach in the Dark is a series of unconventional classical music concerts featuring 'cellist Rachel Scott and a changing roster of guest artists. The series is held in the crypt of St James church, providing an intimate and unique listening environment ideally suited to an engaging and accessible chamber music experience. Due to the high demand for tickets for this event, booking early is highly recommended in order to avoid disappointment. A complementary glass of Simon Whitlam wine or non-alcoholic beverage is available to all patrons. Doors open at 6.30pm, and there is no reserved seating. You may wish to bring a cushion, as most seating is on wooden church pews. Entrance to the crypt is underneath the church, at the Elizabeth street end of the building.
