Bach in the Dark is a series of unconventional classical music concerts featuring 'cellist Rachel Scott and a changing roster of guest artists. The series is held in the crypt of St James church, providing an intimate and unique listening environment ideally suited to an engaging and accessible chamber music experience. Due to the high demand for tickets for this event, booking early is highly recommended in order to avoid disappointment. Programme includes works by J.S. Bach, Elena Kats-Chernin, David Pereira, Friedrich Dotzauer and others. A complementary glass of Simon Whitlam wine or non-alcoholic beverage is available to all patrons. Doors open at 6.30pm, and there is no reserved seating. You may wish to bring a cushion, as most seating is on wooden church pews.
