Our Festival Welcome is a delightful smorgasbord featuring all the artists of the festival. Enjoy the glorious romance of Mahler’s Rückert Lieder with Teddy Tahu Rhodes, the flamboyant folk music of Isidora Žebeljan, and the technical wizardry of Ilya Konovalov in Franz Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie. This concert is a not to be missed festival highlight, starting with the world premiere of a new work by Australian classical/jazz composer Sally Greenaway.
