A Night of Spontaneous Combustion

The spirit of Jazz music demands playing and improvising in the moment. It has to be spontaneous. On the other hand, combustion refers to hot horn playing and there is no doubt that two of Melbourne's most accomplished horn players, Mal Sedergreen on sax and Adrian Sherriff on trombone are renowned for their hot playing. The rhythm section, piano legend Bob Sedergreen together with outstanding bassist, Gareth Hill and the indefatigable Mark Voogd on drums will keep the flames burning. Enjoy as the band stretches out, improvising in depth on classic jazz standards. These musicians have all worked together in various groups before and the night will blaze with intensity.
