Event Details

Special guest Katie Noonan joins the Brisbane Chamber Choir in our hopeful re-emergence of choral music.

The program includes Erik Esenvalds 'Only in Sleep' (with Katie Noonan), Tomas Luis de Victoria's 'Missa Ave Regina' for double choir, 'Bring us, O Lord' by William Harris, 'Lament' by Joseph Twist (with Gwyn Roberts, cello), and music by Britten, Greene, Hassler, Lobo, Morton, Tavener and Sandstrom.

Program includes:

Erik Esenvalds - 'Only in Sleep' (with Katie Noonan)
Tomas Luis de Victoria - Missa Ave Regina
William Harris - Bring us, O Lord
Benjamin Britten
- A Hymn to the Virgin
Maurice Greene - Lord, let me know mine end
Hans Leo Hassler - Verbum caro factum est
Alfonso Lobo - Versa est in luctum
John Tavener - The Lamb
Jan Sandstrom - Lo, how a rose e'er blooming
Joseph Twist - Lament
