Event Details
Callum Watson Group combines Victoria's leading young classical performers and jazz improvisers drawn from symphony orchestras, big bands and world ensembles. The group is led by award winning pianist and composer Callum Watson. In this intimate performance they embark on a new project with a fresh line-up of musicians. The night will include the world premiere of three original works written for the ensemble by Watson that play on the elements of jazz/classical fusion. They will be joined by special guest Flora Carbo, winner of the 2017 James Morrison Jazz Scholarship.
