Canto Antigo is an exciting project presenting contemporary compositions which explores the immediate beauty of folk music from around the world. After performing Schubert's Winter Journey with Sydney-based coloratura tenor Henry Choo at the Adelaide international guitar festival on the 9th of August guitarists Lee Song-Ou & Oliver Fartach-Naini will team up with the ASO violinist Minas Berberyan to work on this innovative undertaking.
The program will feature world premieres of compositions by Vincent Lindsey-Clark (England), Australian composers Richard Charlton, Stephen Whittington and Grant Sheridan as well as well duo gems by Argentine composers Coco Nelegatti and Astor Piazzolla.
