The Velvet Revolution
From Prague to Berlin
Within one remarkable week in November 1989 the Berlin Wall came down and a peaceful revolution brought communist rule to an end in Prague. This concert plays tribute to the golden city where both Janáček and Mozart enjoyed their greatest successes and the German capital where our own Elena Kats-Chernin has left a dramatic footprint.
