Event Details
The Kingston foreshore Powerhouse building that is now the home of Canberra Glassworks, together with Fitters’ Workshop, belongs to the earliest industrial architecture in the ACT. Now a unique and busy centre of glassblowing activity, the building’s large open spaces, furnaces and workshops form the backdrop for a musical ‘hot shop’. Audiences will have an opportunity to hear and see several festival artists in solo mode alongside glass blowers and their newest creations.
