Clocked Out and Peter Knight: Scissors, Paper, Revox
- Date: Friday, 31 July 2020, 6pm (AEST)
- Venue: Live streaming event (online only) — National, Australia Tickets: This is a free event
Trumpet innovator and Australian Art Orchestra director Peter Knight teams up with Clocked Out for this live online event. Using prepared piano, found objects, trumpet and Revox tape machine, the trio have created, collected and manipulated rare sounds, sculpting and layering them into detailed and highly textured and evocative musical compositions.
The performance is a blend of predetermined and spontaneously realized sonic actions, with live video mix by Greg Harm.
This concert is part of Clocked Out's Ensemble in Residence series at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Now in it's 11th year, this series has seen collaborative performances with a who's who of the Australian musical avant garde, and special international guests. Clocked Out is grateful for the ongoing support of QCGU and the generous funding of Bruce and Jocelyn Wolfe.
