Now in its tenth year, Club Zho presents new music works by WA and visiting composers/performers across a broad range of practice, including electronica, chamber, free improv, noise with a blend of established and emerging artists. 2009 sees Club Zho producers Tura New Music work closely with local record and events label Meupe and The Ellington Jazz Club.
AXIS 21: new works by Kelly Curran, Campbell Ellis, Kynan Tan, Talitha Broughton, Ben Hamblin, Pippin Kenworthy, Dan Thorne and Yagan Keily.
The August Club Zho will captivate attentive ears with an energetic night of experimental chamber and electronic works from some of Perth’s most charismatic young and emerging new music composers.
This is a rare opportunity to experience Perth’s finest emerging new music ensemble. Axis 21 is the New Music ensemble at WA Academy of Performing Arts, Edith Cowan University featuring the next generation of innovative young composers and performers.
