Event Details

Building on their deep foundations in the music of Marais and the French Baroque, in 2014 The Marais Project, led by Jennifer Eriksson, continue to “re-imagine” the viola da gamba with new works, new collaborations and a new instrument: the electric viola da gamba. This very special musical “collusion” will feature the world premiere of a commissioned arrangement of Marais by Emily-Rose Sarkova for viol and piano accordion, music by Rodrigo, Cliff Kerr, Handel and Monteverdi with dramatic dialogue from actor Eliska Sarka.
