Event Details
Part 1: Sydney Conservatorium Composers' Ensemble
If haven't heard a clarinet through a drum head, then you need to rediscover sound with this exploratory improvisation from the Con's freshest composers' collective.
Part 2: Benjamin Carey
networks_articulated - an audio-visual performance for modular synthesisers and computer by saxophonist, composer and technologist Benjamin Carey. In this semi-improvised work, human and machine, digital and analog, and sight and sound are combined to arrange, navigate and articulate a shared audio-visual feedback network.
Part 3: Spiral
Spiral is a young contemporary music group playing amplified instruments with a minimalist focus. Their collaborator, multimedia artist Harry Klein, has created a visual counterpoint to their dizzying program featuring new works by Josephine Macken and Joshua Winestock.
