Event Details
Formed last year, the saxophone team of Julien Wilson (tenor saxophone) and Phil Noy (alto saxophone) explore the cannon of the ‘cool’ East Coast school of legendary pianist/composer/
teacher/guru Lennie Tristano, and more specifically the great - but overlooked - legacy of the two saxophone chemistry in the combination of the late Warne Marsh (tenor saxophone) and
Lee Konitz (alto saxophone). The dynamic rhythm section comprises acoustic bassist Philip Rex and drummer Allan Browne.
