Composer and media artist Damian Barbeler continues his ongoing exploration of trees and the Australian landscape in his pursuit of a non colonial Australian composition.

Act 1 - (Tue, September 15, 2020, 3pm – 4pm AEST) - Follow Yuin Elder, Uncle Max Harrison and Damian on a walk through the Bush to 'let the country talk to them'.

Act 2 - (Fri, September 18, 2020, 3pm – 4pm AEST) - A few days later, Damian will present his composition played by world renowned violinist, Veronique Serret, LIVE.

Act 2 - Join Damian and violinist, Veronique Serret LIVE in the Bush as they bring the inspirations of Act 1 to Earth!

Damian Barbeler is an award-winning composer and multimedia artist whose works have been performed and broadcast around the world. He is widely recognised for his idiosyncratic and playful artistic style as well as his lush, emotional creations inspired by textures and patterns from nature.

Véronique Serret has established herself as a versatile musician whose repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary classical, folk, rock and improvisation. She is committed to ‘new works’ and regularly collaborates with Australia’s composers.
