Event Details
Collecting sonic energy from traditional and post-modern trio formats, the D.J.Ross Trio are one of the few contemporary trios of the Southern hemisphere. Ross brings new original music to the table, influenced by the current world depression and recession. Urban-mystic conversations in ballad, music of the spheres, gut wrenching hard-bop, don't miss this burning powerhouse trio live!
Bruno Tocanne is from France, Quinsin Nachoff from Canada. We're lucky enough to have them in Sydney and especially stoked that they're joining us at Jazzgroove. The eccentric instrumentation and the fine players promise a very special night's music, unlikely to be repeated or forgotten.
