Join Danny Widdicombe and the acclaimed jazz trio Trichotomy for a special event at Alchemix Studios Brisbane, performing a set of brand new music to preview their 2025 album 'Iridescence'. Building on their 2019 release 'Between the Lines' these songs draw on influences from artists like Leon Bridges, Ray Lamontagne, and The Teskey Brothers, blending soulful songwriting with jazz textures reminiscent of Khruangbin’s eclectic vibe and the rhythmic grooves of The Meters. Danny Widdicombe has built a reputation with ARIA-nominated 'The Wilson Pickers' and a series of introspective solo albums, while Trichotomy—Sean Foran, John Parker, and Samuel Vincent—are known for their genre-crossing work that integrates jazz with elements of electronica and classical music. Together, they create an atmospheric sound full of rich storytelling and groove, offering a live experience that resonates with fans of folk, jazz and blues.
