Event Details
Artist and composer David Chesworth presents bent and funky delights from the famed Clifton Hill Community Music Centre—including (but highly likely not limited to) sounds from post-punk group Essendon Airport, Philip Brophy’s experimental sound project Tsk Tsk Tsk and David’s own 1979 solo record 50 Synthesizer Greats. Once derided as too intellectual by fellow post-punkers, the team behind the centre for experimental music, performance, film and video are now lauded as… well… too intellectual! David’s live reinterpretations create soundscapes of unsettling otherness—the perfect accompaniment for relaxing with friends in the gardens as the sun sets on another working week.
