Premiere performances of new works by Australian and Albanian composers for the unique combination of trumpet and guitar. Both acoustic and electric modes of the duo will be represented in this vibrant concert of contemporary works.
Ken Murray has forged a distinctive career as a guitarist, blending elements of performance, composition, teaching, and research. His focus encompasses a dedication to showcasing and recording Spanish music from the early 20th century.
Joel Brennan enjoys a diverse career as a performer and teacher. He has performed with orchestras around the globe and has commissioned and premiered dozens of new works, with an emphasis on emerging composers and those from underrepresented demographics.
